Everything a spreadsheet can do, plus the things it never does for you

Build lists with your own columns, set reminders on every expiry date and share them with one clear owner. Everything that turns scattered files into one overview that thinks ahead, and never depends on a single person.

What you get

A list that thinks ahead

Every feature solves a small problem you know from your spreadsheets. Together they replace the scattered files nobody really keeps up to date.

Your own columns

Build exactly the list that fits what you track: text and text area, date, number and amount, yes/no, dropdown, email, phone and a link to a document. Ten column types.

Reminders per row

Link a reminder to a date column and get warned in time, by email and in the app, for example 30 days before an expiry date. All your open alerts sit together on one page.

Never miss a deadline

In your own calendar

Subscribe Outlook, Google or Apple Calendar to your expiry dates. Every date shows up automatically as an appointment, so you see deadlines where you already look.

Nothing slips through

A calm weekly summary of what's coming up. And if a reminder stays open too long, OwndUp automatically escalates to your backup, so it never depends on a single person.

Share and hand over

Give colleagues read or edit rights per list, private until you share. Every list keeps one clear owner, and you hand that ownership over with an acceptance step, so a list never ends up ownerless.

Search everything

One search bar across all your groups, lists and rows. Open it with Ctrl or Cmd plus K and jump straight to the right row, without digging through files and folders.

Excel import and export

Start with an existing Excel file: the headers become columns, the rows become data. And you can always get your lists back out as Excel, per list or all at once as a backup.

Your data stays yours

SharePoint connection

Connect an existing SharePoint list and see it as a clear, read-only mirror in OwndUp. Add reminders on top that SharePoint doesn't give you, without changing anything in SharePoint.

Columns to your measure

You decide the shape, not the tool

Most tools force you into their structure. OwndUp turns it around. You start with an empty list and add the columns that fit what you track.

A text column for the name or supplier, a date column for the expiry date, an amount column for the cost and a link column to the contract or portal. Ten column types in all, from yes/no and dropdown to email and phone. Organise your lists into groups like Contracts, Subscriptions or Certificates and keep everything together.

Reminders and alerts

Get warned before it's too late

A spreadsheet never sends you a heads-up. OwndUp does. You link a reminder to a date column and get warned in time, by email and in the app. You can even have your expiry dates show up in your own calendar.

All open reminders come together on one central alerts page, so you see at a glance what's expiring soon. If something stays open too long, OwndUp escalates to your backup. No contract that quietly auto-renews and no certificate that lapses unnoticed.

Sharing and ownership

Never again a list without an owner

Every company has stray little lists lying around, each with someone who keeps it up. That person leaves at some point, and in a spreadsheet the list goes adrift: no one knows anymore who manages it or which version is right. OwndUp makes ownership explicit.

Invite colleagues as reader or editor per list. Every list keeps exactly one clear owner who can never drop away, and you hand that ownership over with an acceptance step. If the owner does drop away, a backup can take over. That way a list never ends up ownerless and the overview never depends on a single person.
