One missed date can cost thousands of euros.

OwndUp warns you in time, by email and in your calendar, before a contract silently renews or a certificate expires. Even when the person who always kept track of it is no longer there.

Finally, overview and peace of mind. Never caught out again by a date you didn't see coming. Link your Excel or SharePoint list, or start from a template. Nothing to move, no double work.

Works like you do

Start from a template for contracts, certificates or domains, or link an existing list from SharePoint or OneDrive. No new place to lose things, just an overview of what's already there.

Sharing, handover and backup

Every list can be shared with teammates in different ways. If someone falls ill or leaves, the handover is a breeze. Every organisation can set up backup accounts so the business can always keep going.

Before it's too late

Expiring certificates, lapsing domains, notice periods coming up. OwndUp warns the owner and the backup, well before the deadline becomes a problem.

Where it goes wrong

A spreadsheet works. Until a date slips through unnoticed.

Contracts, subscriptions, certificates, licences, domains. They're spread across spreadsheets, mailboxes and folders, and a spreadsheet never sends a heads-up. So you only hear about it once the money's already gone, or the paperwork's no longer valid.

Everything is scattered

One contract in a folder, another in a mailbox, the certificates in yet another file. No one knows what's where anymore, or when something expires.

Result no overview, no grip.
A spreadsheet won't warn you

A contract renews silently, a certificate expires. Your Excel gives no heads-up, so you only notice once it's too late.

Result you keep paying, or you're suddenly without valid paperwork.
And it hangs on one person

Usually one person keeps track of it, in their own file in their own place. When they leave, the overview walks out the door with them.

Result the overview walks out the door.

The solution

One overview that warns you in time

Put your contracts, certificates and subscriptions in one list, on your own Excel or SharePoint. Attach a heads-up to every expiry date, and OwndUp warns you well in time, by email and in your calendar. That's the core. The rest builds around it.

Two minutes: from list to heads-up, in practice.

More than reminders

When Lisa retires, or is just off sick

A reminder warns you in time. But a list also needs someone to carry it. For twelve years Lisa has handled the contracts, the insurance and the domain names, not because it's her job, but because she happens to know how it all fits together.

Friday is her last day.
Without OwndUp
  • The file stays behind, but no one feels like the owner.
  • Three months later a contract renews silently.
  • A certificate turns out to have expired, and no one got a heads-up.

The overview walked out the door with Lisa.

With OwndUp
  • Lisa's lists have an owner who can never fall away.
  • Before her last day she hands over ownership, her colleague accepts, and the list keeps running.
  • The heads-ups stay in place. If something sits too long, it automatically goes to the backup.

The list is never left adrift.

01

Every list has an owner

One person is responsible, and that role can never fall away. You see at a glance who takes care of what, per list.

02

Handover on leaving or sick leave

Hand over ownership. The recipient accepts and the list carries on seamlessly. No hunting for where that file was again.

03

A backup that can take over

Assign a backup who's ready when an owner falls away. That way no list depends on a single person. The backup role is always free.

04

Nothing gets left

If a heads-up stays open too long, OwndUp automatically escalates to your backup. The safety net beneath your safety net.

A reminder warns you in time. When Lisa retires, she hands over ownership properly before her last day. A colleague off sick and no one responding to an expiring certificate or contract? Then the heads-up escalates to the backup on its own. So nothing grinds to a halt, even when someone falls away.

How it works

From empty to a complete overview in a few minutes

No implementation project, no manual. You make exactly the list you need and the rest follows naturally.

1

Start where you are now

Connect your Excel or SharePoint list, import your Excel, or pick a ready-made template. Rather start fresh? Build a list with your own columns: text, date, amount, yes/no, dropdown and more.

2

Set reminders

Attach an alert to a date column. OwndUp warns you in time, by email and in your calendar, for example 30 days before something expires.

3

Share with your team

Invite colleagues as a reader or editor, or hand over ownership of a list. Everything stays private until you share.

4

Someone leaving?

Hand over ownership, the recipient accepts, and the list is never left adrift. If a heads-up sits too long, OwndUp automatically escalates to your backup.

Your documents simply stay in OneDrive or SharePoint, nothing to move, no second archive. Copilot finds what you're looking for, OwndUp warns you about what you forget.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your question? We're happy to think it through with you.

OwndUp is a tool for building shareable lists with your own columns. You set reminders on expiry dates and share lists with your team. Think of it as a smarter, shared spreadsheet that warns you in time, without having to set up a heavy system.
A spreadsheet never nudges you and is hard to share safely. OwndUp gives you per-row reminders, roles for reading and editing, ownership you can hand over, and one search bar across all your lists. You build the same overview, but it thinks along with you.
For each column you pick from text, text area, date, number, amount, yes/no, choice list, email, phone and link. A link column can double as a document location, for example to a file in SharePoint or OneDrive. You attach reminders to a date column, so you get a notification 30 days before an expiry date, for instance.
Every list is private until you share it. You invite colleagues as a reader or an editor, exactly as much access as needed. Every list always keeps at least one owner, so nothing ends up rudderless.
Yes. Upload an Excel file and the headers become columns, the rows become data. You can also export any list back to Excel, per list or all at once as a backup.
You log in with your Microsoft account and you can link an existing SharePoint list. It shows up as a read-only mirror in OwndUp: you manage the content in SharePoint, and OwndUp layers on the reminders SharePoint doesn't offer itself. We never write anything back to SharePoint; the refresh happens when you open or refresh the list.
Your data is hosted within the EU, in Frankfurt and Amsterdam. OwndUp is built to the GDPR and you can always export your data. Your data is yours.
